The "BIG" Ones

When the So Cal Regional IV Staff got together on Catalina June, 2011, they let God awaken in them a desire to see what He dreams about. We opened up to the desires God has for our schools, SoCal, our world! Here is a summary list (* are my personal conviction to be praying for):

*** That the Greek communities would know Jesus and lead others to faith!
*** That the racial injustice on the campuses would come to an end, that IV students would lead out in racial reconciliation, that they would TEACH the administration what GOOD racial reconciliation looks like, and that the systems would forever be affects
*** That everyone on all the campuses would know where to go to see Jesus and His people in community at work!
- That the cities around each of the colleges would be transformed as students reach out of their campus and bring the truth of the resurrection and the New Creation
- That faculty, staff and administration would know the fear of the Lord and lead students and co-workers to Christ
- That students at the colleges, and especially the community colleges, would graduate and become people of influence in their cities to forever alter the structures in place
*** That thousands of students would come to Christ! That whole campuses would know Jesus! That God would add to the community of believers DAILY those who are being saved!
- That the international students who return to their nations would bring the gospel and thus transformation!
- That Muslim students would come to know the Lord, despite the suffering before them, and bring whole nations to Him
- That more staff would be raised up throughout California to serve and to be sent overseas
- That non-IV people would BEG to support IV staff to be part of the amazing work the Lord is doing!
- That there would be unity of mission and vision across all the Christian groups on all the campuses to have more laborers for God’s call to revival!
- That the social injustices would be transformed by God-fearing, God-loving students!

August 2011:
For now, I feel God calling me to love and minister Greek students. This is new and exciting, scary and challenging. I also feel the LORD inviting me to partner with Him in racial reconciliation, to be a witness through cross-cultural relationships. Finally, I believe God has called me to dream big for our community-that God will transform us, and that someday soon we will begin to see Him at work as we never dreamed!!

((I will add to this list as I feel God challenging me to hope and pray for more!))
